Once you have registered your interest we will arrange for one of our Business Advisers to contact you to find out more about your business and establish what type of support, and in what areas, are needed.
So if you are an accountant, solicitor, baker, retailer, a creative entrepreneur, or whatever type of business you are running and operate/or live in Harrow we want to help you.

What type of support can we offer?
Digital Skills Training
Post COVID19 it is important that you can use social media effectively to engage with other businesses and/or people.
We can offer bite-size, hands-on group training sessions for LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram to suit your knowledge and skillset whether you are a:
– Beginner
– Intermediate
– Advanced
These sessions will last 2.5 hours.
Business and Financial Planning
Survival and/or the future growth of your business could depend on finance.
We can help you by:
– Making sense of the variety of schemes currently available
– Reviewing business plans and financial forecasts supporting funding applications
– Signposting you to alternative finance providers/schemes
Legal Health Check Audit
COVID has overnight changed how we do business such as:
– You or your suppliers amended your business terms and conditions
– Staff may have been furloughed or have had their job role changed? And more
– Allowing staff to work from home?
We can offer you a free 1-hour consultation to review your existing, operational paperwork to ensure it is relevant for the new norm.
Peer Learning Groups
How often have we heard about learning from other people’s mistakes and experiences? True for people, true for business.
We will facilitate online sessions (lasting no more than 60 mins) that will give business owners the opportunity to talk and share.
– Get new ideas for marketing/business development
– Connect with like-minded entrepreneurs
– Share mutual problems and get group solutions
1:1 Business Advice Sessions
1-hour strategy meetings to consider the viability and/or future growth plans for your business.
Examples of areas where we could offer assistance:
– Post-COVID planning
– Review of traditional and digital marketing strategies
– Analysing your existing business model; updating or creating a new one as a result
– Leadership and management where remote working has become the norm
Business Skills Training
These 60 – 90 min group sessions are designed to develop those key skills identified in your initial meeting(s).
Topics could include:
– Marketing strategies
– Managing/motivating staff remotely
– Creativity, innovation and pivoting – taking advantage

Training
If through the course of our discussions it becomes apparent that you or your team could benefit from selective training to further improve your knowledge and/or skills then we will refer you on to the Harrow Excite team. They have launched a new initiative that could be of benefit to you. Please click here to find out more information.
The scheme is keen to help you and/or their staff get access to the support they need, through training, to get upskilled. In some cases this training could be provided free of charge to you and/or your team subject to you meeting some specific criteria.
They will also help you in recruiting new and training new members of your team including apprenticeships.
This support, we hope, will ultimately lead to your business being better equipped to take up new opportunities so that it can continue to grow and prosper in the future.
